EXECUTIVE BOARD


1.     SCOTT A. ANDRESEN, Founder and President

The only child of Gordon Andresen, Scott is the founder of Andresen & Associates P.C., a Chicago-based law firm that focuses its offerings in the areas of sports law, entertainment and the arts, intellectual property and a wide array of legal and non-legal services to clients ranging from small entrepreneurs to multi-million dollar corporations. Prior to founding Andresen & Associates, Scott served as in-house legal counsel for the Arena Football League. He also worked for the legal department of the Oakland Raiders, and served as Legal Assistant to the Executive Director of the Illinois High School Association. Scott earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, his Doctor of Jurisprudence at the Valparaiso University School of Law, and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Scott lives in East Dundee, Illinois, where he is also a Village Trustee serving a four-year term ending in 2021.

2.     STEPHANIE M. OLOFSON, Executive Vice President

Stephanie is the owner of Onyx Studio in East Dundee, and is the fiance of GBG Founder Scott Andresen. A mother of two amazing daughters, Stephanie is a tireless giver who is always striving to make the lives of those around her better through donating her time to various charitable endeavors and by doing acts of kindness on an ongoing basis. Stephanie embodies the traits that made Gordon and Annette Andresen the wonderful people that they were, and is a living and breathing embodiment of the Mission of Gord Being Gord.

3.     MICHAEL D. DORSCH, Vice President and Treasurer

A friend of the Andresen family for almost two decades, Michael Dorsch is the Senior Director of Finance for the Chicago Blackhawks. A graduate of Dominican University (B.A.) in 1999 and Elmhurst College (M.B.A.) in 2010, Mike’s professional experiences with the Blackhawks, Navistar, Jones Lang LaSalle and U.S. Cellular Chicago give him an extensive background in accounting and tax matters as they relate to the financial administration and operations of a wide array of business entities.

4.     R. SCOTT ROCHELLE, Vice President

A friend of the Andresen family for over a decade, Scott Rochelle is the President and CEO of the National Basketball Retired Players Association. Rochelle is a rising star in the basketball world, working closely with the NBA executive team to guide revenue-generating and philanthropic programs that involve the greatest names in the NBA. Prior to joining the Retired Players Association in 2013, Rochelle served as an attorney for six-years with Querrey & Harrow, leading the Sports and Entertainment practice group with a focus on professional athlete business advisement, contract and endorsement representation. Rochelle is a graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia and received his Master’s in Education and a law degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

5.     DEON THOMAS, Vice President

A friend of the Andresen family for over a decade, Deon is a Director of Development for the University of Illinois and a voice of Fighting Illini men's basketball, calling games with Doug Altenberger. Deon was also a pretty fair basketball player, being drafted 28th overall in the 1994 NBA Draft by the Dallas Mavericks after graduating from the University of Illinois as the all-time leading scorer in men's basketball history. As a high school player at Simeon H.S. in Chicago, Deon led his team to the Chicago Public League title as a junior, and was named Illinois' Mr. Basketball after his senior season- culminating his season with an appearance in the McDonald's All-American game alongside Shaquille O'Neal.
